the station is usually jampacked when I leave at an earlier time. nuts … just plain nuts did I tell you it was nuts?
We got home from the poconos and I got the chance to watch a bunch of games that were on. I was looking forward to a bunch of games but one game that I was waiting for was the matchup between Baltimore and Indianapolis. Man that was a great game. Talk about a lot of missed chances for the Ravens. Missed interception by Chris McAllister, 3 missed Field Goals by Matt Stover. That would’ve been a total of 16 points. Well, what can you do. The eagles is surely going to miss Corey Simon. I think he did pretty well on his first game considering he didn’t even play in any pre-season games and/or practice in training camp. I was surprised by the Saints – Panthers game, I did not expect the Saints to step up, but they did. The Giants did pretty well against the Cardinals. That Brandon Jacobs guy is pretty good and kinda scary. He just knows where to find the seams and go through it. Not bad for a 6’4″ RB. Goat of the Week: Chad Pennington, QB NY Jets. 6 Fumbles, 1 INT. J-E-T-S Choke! Choke! Choke! Upset of the week: Tampa Bay against Minnesota […]
If there is one thing you can be sure of in this world is that you are never sure of anything. Company A is going through another round of layoffs … a complete turnaround from a decision 12 hours back. Company P is just plain stupid. Gas is crazy expensive! Ugh not even funny. People dying, among others. Movable Type is charging an amount which I honestly cannot afford. I mean … what is going on?!? Could this world be any worse? Everything bad is at an all time high, and everything else is at an all time low. This is like the year 2001 all over again. Makes you wanna shout and lash out to the world huh? What can I do but hold my breath in. I feel like staying on top of a hill that overlooks everything. Use a vine or something for a shade and wait until the wrath of God is unleashed. Wait … that had a different ending.
one … i did not write the blog below. marchesa did. two … philippine elections are over and looks like the best friend of former president estrada is winning. check out this site … http://namfrel.org/. I really hope that the winner will do something radical in order to lift the country up. We know that something is wrong with the system, the problem is not only with the President but it’s the execution of the policies down to the local government level. I hate to say it but until the government protects our number one resource from stinkin’ middle men, our agricultural sector will never be at par with any other country in the world. and if you don’t know what our number one resource is then you don’t deserve to occupy a position in the government … go somewhere and start planting camote …
May 6, 200 :: final episode of FRIENDS quite honestly, i was a religiously watching fan, but it was sentimental knowing that after 10 years, it’s gone. Monica and Chandler adopted twins, preparing to move into their new suburbian house. Ross and Rachel ended up staying together. I was really happy with that ending only because i have one too many favorite sitcoms when the two people who are all the wise are best friends, end up marrying other people. Take for example, Wonder Years. Winny and Kevin Arnold? i use to watch that every day after school, relating it to my life, and i just remember crying, cuz it’s just so true…all Kevin’s introspective thoughts on life, friendships, and love. so, ya, it was surprisingly emotional to watch the show and realize they had to break the foozeball table to allow new life to prosper. it was for the best. 🙂 so as i ponder my own life, most of my friends are getting their way towards that hill of midtwenties, most of them on the top, and a few over it…but things change…and it’s always hard to say goodbye to something, not necessarily somone. i’ll be getting married […]
may04::birthday to the fairest of them all… and audrey was her name…
another day has passed and a new one is about to begin. what is it about something “new” that keeps us on our toes? come to think of it, in the past 6000 or so years (yes, I am a creationist) that this earth has existed, nothing is really new anymore . oh i know … it’s called a blessed hope in the midst of grim uncertainty. a lot of eyebrows would probably be raised when they read this. but what the hey, i’m sleepy, delirious and i can write anything i want. it’s so funny how “free minds” try to free us from the constraints of our grassroots, from the suffocating embrace of this “baggage of a bear” that they call faith. they say having a set of beliefs limits your humanity, they seem to have no basis for right or wrong, except for what they feel. a common trap because we end up living for the present. the train of thought that says, there is nothing to live for except to be merry, for tomorrow we die. if they are right, then it doesnt matter what you do and what you believe in since when we die, we […]
