I’m a very big fan of nautical fashion, so when Baby GAP had their season sale from spring 2009, I bought a couple pieces from that line. Maybe I can find something along the lines of this style for myself to compliment the girls. The great thing about these pieces are they are super soft, and the material transcends the summer season into fall because of its heavier texture. They definitely are layering items, which makes them versatile in any weather. I also made sure I sized up for Emma, seeing as that she’ll start school next year, and I don’t want to have to spend extra money for clothes next year. She’ll truly be a dapper Dannie. source: Baby GAP
Some great finds today… For Zem: Braided Sandals from Baby GAP Braided strappy faux-leather upper with a secure buckle strap at heel, slight wedge at cork footbed, rubber sole. Comes in brown, but I like how the red pops out. Originally $27 but I found it for $5. Nice right? Just in time for summer. Wish I found the similar ones, higher wedge, so I can match with her. But the bargain was too unbelievable. For Baby Zias/Zienne: Cable Knit Sweater One Piece from Baby GAP Short raglan sleeves, v-neckline, front button placket, picot-edged cuffs and leg openings, hidden inseam snap placket. Soft and comfortable cable knit cotton with finely ribbed trim throughout. I have such a personal affinity to knitted things, esp. baby’s clothes. It also just looks so simple, but natural. This one, I found for $7, which was originally $30. I was so surprised when I got to the payment counter that I bought one for my expected niece/nephew that’s arriving this October. What’s messed up is that online, these items are on sale, but still comparatively expensive. The shoes are $14 and the the one piece is $25. BOO!!!
