Perze and i bought this product called Bebe Sounds which enable us to hear our baby’s heartbeat, record it to our laptop, speak to her through a microphone, and let her listen to classical music as well as anyother type of music. So far, we’ve been able to accomplish all of those things, even record her heartbeat. It takes a little patience to find her fast heartbeat, but we’ve found it effective to record it at night when she’s the most fiesty (which is around 12 in the morning, without fail). So when she’s getting married, we can remind her how small she used to be, and how close her heartbeat use to be to mine. also, when perze uses the Bebe Sounds Mic to talk to her, she ends up kicking the spot where the sound is coming from. She’s very responsive, and still a great kicker.
Your Body This Week The top of your uterus now reaches about 2 inches above your bellybutton. You may be feeling Braxton Hicks contractions. These “practice” contractions pump blood to the uterus and prepare the body for labor. You may continue to feel mood swings, fatigue and heartburn. You may sweat frequently as your body temperature is high during pregnancy. You may have extra weight on your upper arms, shoulders and on your face due to water retention. Your weight gain may be causing bladder problems, sore feet and fatigue. To combat the fatigue and sore feet, wear comfortable shoes, put your feet up whenever you can and rest whenever possible. I have still yet to experience the Braxton Hicks, but i think it’s amazing how your body can prepare you for the actual symptoms of labor, so that you won’t mistake the sensation when you’re already at stage one of the labor process. Mood swings: perze has been telling me stories of his friends’ wives who have asked him if i’ve been recently moody or mean to him because they’ve been known to be unmerciful during their pregnancies, but perze honestly thanked me for being patient and giving. To be honest, God’s really molding […]

well here it is: here’s a report of my baby at her 23rd week…seems so close to her birthday. hopefully soon, we’ll have our 2nd ultrasound to maybe better determine the gender and make sure all the anatomical necessities are ok. Your Baby Week 23 Your baby now weighs almost 1 lb (450g) and measures about 8 inches (20cm) from crown to rump. She is becoming plumper as her fat is being laid down at a high rate, but her skin is still wrinkled and reddish. The wrinkled and loose appearance of her skin is due to the faster production of her skin than the fat that fills it out. The reddish appearance of her skin is due to the deposition of pigment as her skin loses its translucent appearance. Your baby can kick and punch vigorously by now, but she may also be gently feeling the umbilical cord and rubbing her hands and face against the inside membrane of the amniotic sac that holds her. She is still swallowing amniotic fluid (which provides an important nutritional supplement to the nutrition she gets from you via the placenta) and is passing some of it as urine. The swallowing of the […]
in the beginning of the 5th month, i’ve been feeling baby’s tiny little kicks here and there, to the left and to the right, as well as baby’s position. my baby also seems to be a ninja due to her constant kicking of my bladder, which she may mistake as her first toy. when she kicks it, it’s as if i have to pee for a wee second. perze hasn’t been able to feel baby’s kicks but yesterday night, we waited until baby kicked right below his hand, and perze was surprised to finally have felt such a tiny push. baby ninja is so amazing, and it’s good know she’s right on time and doing great. also, yesterday, dr. salvatore called me and gave me positive results with the rest of my blood tests, so everything looks healthy and ok. we’re now just waiting to reschedule our second ultrasound with cooper since kennedy had some slip ups with our insurance.
Tatay did what mama has no clue on doing, which is to set up this page. But mama put her creative juices and decorated my little blog space. They are a great team. Let’s see how well they do with my diapers.
Welcome to our “Baby” Blog. As you all know, our first child is due in a couple months (take note … first) so we would like to dedicate this blog to the newest member(s) of our little family.
