No, Zi-Zi’s
Zienne is funny. She’s learned early on that she can “have” stuff and she just loves to use the phrase, “No, mine” and “No, Zi-Zi’s”

thirty, Will always be how much older I am with Emma Will always be how much older Marchesa is with Zi Will always be how much more wedding anniversaries my parents will have compared to mine
This was a place of dreams, and these three are what keeps me going.
today is my maternal grandmother’s 15th death anniversary. I remember visiting her a couple months before she passed away. a shell of her former self ravaged by complications due to diabetes. I remember how my mom took the news of her death. vividly. she did not have formal schooling and stopped going to school after finishing 2nd grade. she did have the determination and discernment to send all her kids to school. My mom and her siblings is a testament of that pursuit for education.
Unlike Emma who can’t get enough of the iPhone, Zienne was really fond of my Blackberry. There was even a time when she would ask for the blackberry rather than the iPhone. Yesterday, Marchesa started documenting Zienne’s love of nutella. Pictures of Zienne with that brown sticky sweet stuff all over her mouth and its neighboring areas gave me a chuckle. I got a funny surprise this morning when I saw this picture.
Zienne was so sweet this morning. I woke up pretty early to get ready for work. After I took my shower, I was surprised to see her awake and not cranky. Marchesa asked me to refill Zi’s milk cup and surprisingly Zi wanted to come down with me. As we went down the stairs to the kitchen was very affectionate and was giving me hugs and kisses. I don’t even remember a time when she did this last since she’s either cranky or asleep when I leave for work. I love that girl. Thanks anak.
I am thankful for my family, who has always been there through all the changes we went through this year. I’m thankful for my wife, for being the beacon of light and keeping things together in this family. I’m thankful for my daughters for giving me so much joy. I’m thankful for my church for giving our family the much needed spiritual support. I’m thankful for my parents and siblings, though very far away but your prayers, calls and text messages make it seem that you are just around the corner I’m thankful for my in-laws for always being gracious when we come over and leave the girls. I’m thankful for my boss for giving me the all the support I need to build my team which enables me to do my job with the least resistance. I’m thankful for my coworkers for helping understand the value my team of testers bring to the table. This list can go on forever, but this is just a snippet of of the blessings that have been poured on me this year. I owe it all to you, my Lord, my Savior, my Master, my Friend, my Jesus.
