Today, we watched Alive Inside, an honest and incredible documentary of how music, from day one of our existence captures us and is one of the residual things inside us that stays even when our memory will fail us. We unknowingly create a soundtrack of our lives that can one day be the trigger to make us feel alive. The documentary shows how music opens up souls of people suffering from deep memory loss. I implore this young generation to know the music that your parents grew up with and love. Hopefully, because one day, it may be the jolt that lightens their soul. It also teaches us to drown in music, to stop every once in a while and immerse in it. One day, it may serve as a lifeline, that will jumpstart and awaken the most profound spirit in us. Truly one of the best documentaries I’ve seen in a long time.
Our Valentine’s celebration this year was scattered throughout the week, so here’s a good visual recap of the love…of the love…of the love. 🙂 It started that morning when Perze continued his tradition of giving each of his girls a bouquet of roses.
