So, holidays are upon us, from Thanksgiving, to Christmas, and New Years… With that said, that means family pictures, parties, events, concerts, get togethers, dinners, etc. So for those fashion conscious moms/dads who have those adorable cherubs we call daughters, I’ve compiled the cutest shoes of the season! Just a warning- the prices range from $5 to less than $100. I wanted to cover my bases in case people are on a budget or have some room to splurge. I also didn’t include designer brands, well, just because I feel these have just a little more unique style. I also didn’t include high end boutiques because I don’t think anyone would appreciate a pair of shoes for over $100. So on with the show! Braided Metallic Ankle Boots (Sale) $10.99 @ Old Navy These days, it’s all about the ankle boots. High boots are still cute, but if you’re opting out of the classic style this season, go for the more trendy ankle boot…and of course, a little glitter doesn’t hurt- esp. on these very neutral color that is great for more casual layered clothes. Metallic Boots $24.94 @ Old Navy Seriously love this. High top sneakers are definitely on […]
I love the big statement necklaces…even before they became a trend, but since it’s so popular these days, I’ve been looking for an alternative type of necklace for everyday use. Pave Rose Chain Fringe Pendant $36 @ Baublebar These days, I’m crushing on the lariat necklace, chunky or delicate, long or short, alone or layered. The possibilities are endless, but it stands out because of it’s length and fluid drape. Here are a couple of my favorites that I’ve seen online. Depending on your outfit, there are different kinds you can wear and how. You just need a little creativity. Mini Pearl Beaded Tassel Lariat $36 @ Baublebar Fete Fringe Lariat Necklace Gold $21 @ Shop Prima Donna Personalized 2 Initial Gold Lariat $39 @ Etsy Lilana Lariat Necklace $25 @ Nasty Gal

School pictures were earlier than expected. The girls are getting so big. For some reason, whoever takes their pictures makes them put their hand on their hip. To get those big smiles, we share a little secret that I’ll let my readers know, just for being awesome. We have a secret password that we share so they can think about it when getting their pictures taken. It makes them super happy and usually gets them to smile big. This year, I believe the secret word was “chicken booty”.
