A Race to Lace

Author: No Comments Share:

I recently soujourned to the fabric shop to buy some lace in use of altering some ripped up pieces of clothing from my daughters’ closet. Rips, holes can be covered beautifully by shapes of lace! But that’s another blog.

The inspiration, however, is because of the influx of lace in today’s fashion, one I doubt will be departing any time soon.  It’s worked its way back en mode, with even more beautiful twists and creativity involving embriodery! *SWOON*

So, make sure to check your grandmother’s trunks in the attic, and discover old treasures from her lace.  If you can’t, here are some of my picks, some key pieces.

Jayleen Lace Dress
Free People $250

Commemorative Dress
Free People $168

Seaside Ceremony Dress
Modcloth $168

Encaje Dress
Anthropologie $150

Nishe Allover Lace Shift Dress
Asos $159

ASOS Cupped Structured Dress In Lace
ASOS $237

Floral Lace Dress
LOFT $118

So, this is just a small sample…you know what I’m talking about. I didn’t included too many pictures, but these 3 stores alone have a great variety of lace dresses, withouth having a monopoly, so if you’re on the hunt, this is a good place to start.
