This season has been one of the worst and coldest winters to date, with forecasts of accumulating snow, numerous school cancelations, below freezing temps, icy conditions, AND strange fluctuations in the temp. The upside was the girls being able to build a snowman and not just sing about building a snowman. They were able to go outside during school snow days and frolic. AND their Tito Fred and Ate LJ, avec les cousins, also went TUBING- yes, their first ever overpaid experience of riding a blown up tube down a pristine mountain. Here some snippets of their adventures. And a video of playing in the snow at a park near our house where they were able to indeed build a snowman.

Emma  convinced me to sign up and join her at her school for “Get Fit Night” where visited different stations to introduce various activities of fitness- like Karate, Yoga, Dance, Floor Exercises, and Zumba. To encouge our girls to always move, I decided I’d comply to her request and show her that I too can shake my tailfeather…and do  20 push ups. Good thing I took up working out.  I’ve seen a boost in my energy and upper body strength AND endurance. Woot. Here’s a little trailer of what we did last night.

Every year, the WMU in our church holds a themed Valentine’s Dinner.  This year was “The Roaring 20s so we brought the whole family.  The whole night, the girls were dancing and running on the dance floor, having fun with each other and friends. It turned out well for Perze and I, who were able to make rounds and have fun ourselves. Ps. We also won King and Queen 🙂 … first time for everything I guess. Cheers to you, Gatsby!  

Couples don’t have the monopoly on valentine’s day; love does. So, for the lovelorn, inject love onto areas of lower concentration and you will make someone’s day. So happy valentine’s day to my family and friends. Wish I can hug you all today, esp. My parents…To whom my heart is constantly drawn to, Perze Ababa, my best friend. I knew there would only be advantages when I chose you as the matching genetic carrier to complete my offsprings’ chromosomes.
