I was looking for a birthday verse for my godchild and saw this:

Ephesians 2:10 
For we are God’s handiwork,
created in Christ Jesus to do good works,
which God prepared in advance for us to do. (NIV)

I wrote it on her card.  Granted she’s only turning the big O N E, but hopefully, if she ever looks back at that card, a lightbulb from heaven will give her the clarity that we are indeed created for His purpose- being good works prepared in advance.

How awesome is that?! 

We go through life, through our adolescent and even golden years WONDERING, sometimes confused as to why we are here, questioning where we belong, but the verse transverses time and reminds us that what is going to be already is; we just need to go for the things God has planned for us in the beginning.  And since we are His handiwork, His creation, created IN Christ Jesus, we need to trust Him.
