37 weeks: Baby is as long as a stalk of Swiss chard Pregnancy Updates I’m going to my weekly appointments now, and last week, I was informed that I was already a centimeter dilated. This week, I’m finally FULL TERM, and 1.5 cm dilated. This means that if I go into labor, the baby will not be a preemie and will not have to undergo further treatment at the NICU. I feel ok, although something tells me I might go into labor earlier than my expected due date. The Braxton Hicks contractions are more and more frequent each day, and recently, some contractions have been very discomforting. Nesting I have everything in order already on my part- the baby bag, the infant seat carrier, her clothes, etc…it’s more Perze who needs to step up his A game like the crib, and furniture, and moving stuff out of our room to make room for her. But he gets home from work a little late sometimes and needs to rest or work out, so I try to give him some allowance. One day, we’ll have to tackle all the things that need to be done in one day, no excuses. I’m more […]
Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to move…you know, out of Jersey, actually far from Jersey and NOT california, like most people think is the only optional solace safe for people to move to. A fresh start seems comforting, away from people who are too familiar with you and sometimes just uses you or takes you for granted, or probably even talks behind your back when you’re blessed or succeed. Sometimes it’s exciting to see how the garden you’ve invested so much in will bloom without you. ——

So sick of this stupid Chick-Fil-A controversy from both sides already. CHILL OUT AMERICA. Only a country that prides itself of free speech and diversity would make a huge deal over a restaurant while there are more pressing world issues out there, people who can’t even afford food, people who only drink soda during Christmas because they can’t even afford a bottle, children who have to sell flowers on the streets, and ask Americans for their tattered flip flops. Get over yourself if you think you’re doing everyone a favor by not eating their chicken, and get over yourself if you’re going to eat chicken to prove you care. Why don’t you do humanity the real favor and buy a chicken to impoverished communities instead. http://donate.worldvision.org/ OA_HTML/xxwv2ibeCCtpItmDspRte.jsp?cmp=KNC-10152549&item=1270176&go=item§ion=11080&xxwvCampaign=10152549&prod=9CjUwLjL6fq_2o9oCfojUhW6%3AS&prod_pses=ZG3995261AC071CF32E902E08C1F38C6D068536B4EE8FC55A5BA54C5F34B35D773388F85489B52CAD2861E65D4B39E725B7D830A759A0FEB4D Don’t get me wrong, I think it’s fine to support and take a stand with what you stand for. What I’m not for is when hatred and judgment from both sides, although I’m guessing it’s inevitable. I’ve heard Christians judge other Christians and non-Christians, and non-Christians judge their friends who are Christians, and it’s really saddening, and personally, upsetting. As I type, Facebook is allowing miscommunication happen already with thoughts forming inside […]
