Last night, while tucking emma to sleep, after our prayer time:

me: mamam prays too long sometimes, don’t I? I’m sorry, monkey.

emma: it’s ok. It’s like my memory verse, “pray without ceasing.”

me: you’re very right! Jesus, wants you to know him, and praying doesn’t mean you use him to get things you want. Sometimes, the more you spend time in prayer, you’ll see He lets you know more and more of who He is and the more you love Him.
