Last night, while I was putting Emma to bed for the night, Zi enters the room and runs by Emma’s bedside. 

"Ate, night night.  Kiss!"  So Emma gives her a kiss.
"Hug, Ate."  So Emma gives her a hug.
"I love you, Ate."  So Emma says, "I love you, Zi."

Today, while Zi was having her hot cocoa for breakfast, she saw a dog enter the scene in one of the tv shows I was watching.  With an empathetic voice, she responds, "Awwwwe!  Cute."
