Blog Off: Challenger Perze vs. Chesa

Author: No Comments Share:

So Perze challenged me to a blog-off…a blog challenge.

I was hoping it would be in rap form, but alas, a girl can only dream.  So, the challenge entails writing on being "Christlike" and what it means to be "Christlike."

Today, as I was dancing with my youngest, the beat caught my body in sporadic movements, probably only appreciated by my accepting daughters, and my heart signaled my head to wonder if my Christ, my Savior, my love, Jesus danced when He was on earth.   Or in heaven, when a lost soul is won, when He’s glorified with truth, does He do a victory dance?

I tried to look in the Scriptures but there’s no specific verses, although much deductions.  But I did read this:

"Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp."
psalm 139:3

Yes, it says ‘dance.’  Now, it’s important to note that it’s just not booty booty junk in the trunk dancing, but in your dance, let there be your praise.  I know that I cannot fully blog about being Christlike in this entry, but I can say one thing.  You can praise Christ in the dance!
