Zienne is always my conversation starter, literally; she says "hi" to everyone she sees & they ask how old she is, surprised she says words.
Usually, they’ll say, “how old is she?” and these days, I say 17 months. (Is it 17 months? born in may…) Then she points at things and says their names, like “baby, ball, no…etc” and of course, when we leave, “ba-bye.”
Sometimes, she’s the one that makes friends for me, making the friendly initiative, and I always end up finishing the conversation she’s started. Nonetheless, she attracts a lot of public attention, if not for saying “hi”, it’s for singing loudly in the stores.
