I love Leifsdottir.  When I saw this dress in the stores on sale, I automatically didn’t second think it. The fit alone makes you feel classic, with the heavy fabric being very forgiving on any "imperfect" areas.

The cut is classic, as stated, with cute button details on the side, giving it a little subtle character. Also, the ruffle is a cute addition, but I only wised the fabric was similar to the overall dress fabric. The ruffles are constructed from very thin cotton flimsy plain material which looks a little awkward when up close because that’s the only part of the dress that has that specific fabric. So the two types of black is a little askew. But that’s hardly something to worry about when the rest of the dress is really beautiful, aesthetically as well as when worn.
I’m 5’2 and the dress hits right at the knee. For such a modest dress, the best part is accessorizing this with your shoes, stockings, earrings, rings, and bracelet. Fits true to size.

And lastly, it’s completely VERSATILE. I wore it to a concert that I conducted, but it’s also date/dinner/party/work appropriate.
