WordPress 1.21.1 for the iPhone has just been released for the latest iPhone O/S. This release fixes a bunch of bugs that were introduced when iPhone 3.0 was released. I do personally feel that there were a bunch of issues that cropped up in the previous version of the app due to the release of wordpress 2.8 but all of those have been fixed with this release. With this release, I can now access the blog account details page, affix categories on any posts and type while in the landscape orientation, among other things. I do wish that in the future versions of this app I would have better controls on the formatting of text and better multimedia management since the iPhone takes videos this time around. This version is a must downlaod if you use wordpress as you blogging platform and you have an iPhone or an iPod Touch. With this release, wordpress showed that code is indeed poetry. Thanks wordpress folks.
The wonders of the new iPhone 3G S…video feature, plus quick direct upload to Youtube via iPhone. Getting Zienne to smile a little while for me…
I remember that day when I stood nervously next to a pew, feverishly dialing my phone and hoping that either of my parents would pick up the phone. That day was not like any other day. I woke up early so I could change my clothes and get ready for the days affairs. I remembered putting the video camera in front of me so I could remember every detail possible on that day. The phone rang five or six times before I heard that all so familiar voice. “Hello?” It was my mom. I told her it was me and she asked me how I was. I told her I was nervous and that I couldn’t feel my legs. She probably laughed from the inside but she went on encouraging me. A couple minutes into the convrsation, she handed the phone to my dad and I almost brke down from there but I was able to keep my composure. I was getting married that day and due to uncontrollable circumstances, none of of my family was there with me. Nevertheless my parents were so gracious during that day in expressing their happiness with my decision. Probably hurting because they weren’t […]
Did I mention Zienne smiles now? We had the opportunity to coo over her smiles since her first week, but those were merely signs of some chemical happenings in her body. On her sixth week, she became socially aware of faces and showed her contentment through gummy grins. I’ve yet to take a picture because it’s still hard to capture, but her smiles are most likely induced from her interactions with her big sister Emma. Some extremely late nights, when I’m rocking her to sleep, drowsy with my own physical fatigue, I’ll find renewed strength from an innocent and simple contortion of her lips representing happiness. Funny how one simple movement of the ends of her mouth can change the weight of my spirit. Zi, you’re beautiful.
7 weeks 6 pounds left
What a difference 6 weeks make. Zienne is no longer that semi jaundiced 6 pound baby that we brought home from the hospital. You’ve probably heard this a lot but this baby is so much behaved than her elder sister when she was her age. I must admit that I see pockets of Emma’s sassiness from time to time but this girl hasn’t really given us that much grief, ask wife for final word on this. Our only challenge now is for this girl to realize that we are supposed to sleep at night. My little baby owl here just does the opposite. Since she sleeps for 5 hours at a time during the day and sleeps in 30 minute increments at night. I thank God for you anak. I can’t wait to see who you are going to be when you grow up. Just don’t grow up too fast.
“Small children disturb your sleep, big children you life.” –Yiddish Proverb “Little children, headache; big children, heartache.” –Italian Proverb “As a parent, you try to maintain a certain amount of control and so you have this tug-of-war….You have to learn when to let go. And that’s not easy.” -Aretha Franklin Our girls were sick for father’s day, but that didn’t deter us from celebrating and giving Perze his gifts. Both Zi and Em gave him presents after I came home from church. We had to take turns fulfilling some ministry responsibilities because the two girls stayed home to rest. Tay, happy father’s day. One day, your children will realize everything you’ve sacrificed for them. I’ve seen you change throughout our seasons together, and I am proud of who you’ve become, fulfilling the role of a loving, nurturing and protective dad. Our family is SO blessed by you. Happy Father’s Day also to Papa, Tatay, & KSam- who are great fathers who continually reach the bar. We love you. Pictures of Father’s Day 2009 available on our Photo Gallery.
