“God is so good.God is so good.God is so good. He’s so good to me.” I thank Him for sometimes not allowing me to see where I am going, just so I still know how much I need to hold His hand to guide me. Thank you Lord for my discomfort sometimes. Help me to honor you through all things. Psalm 139
Zem just said, “Dream about Tatay; he’s your husband. Dream about him.” hahahah…I think it’s all the sailor moon romantic episodes she’s been watching. She also told me that her Tatay needs to buy a “tuxedo” so we can get married, and that she’ll be my flower girl.
Last Young Adults/Professional Bible Study, we learned about Finances and the many promise-saturated verses of how God wants us to have a godly attitude towards money and provision. Today, I got a phone call from Perze saying most than half his team was let go. I could tell by his voice that he was afraid of the consequences if he was to be fired. But like most things we’ve had to experiences ever since our dating days, we reminded ourselves that God always provides. He is our Jehovah Jireh. Job or no job. This morning, I claimed Hab.2:3…the verse God showed us since 2003, saying to wait for God; that things will not be delayed…everything in His perfect timing. Then I was brought back to the verses we learned from BBS, and it quieted more of my fears: ———————————————————————————————– Ecclesiastes 5:10 He who loves money will not be satisfied with money, nor he who loves wealth with his income; this also is vanity. Isaiah 55:1 Come, everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and he who has no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. Why do you spend your money for […]

It’s been two weeks since my last OBGYN appointment and I haven’t gained weight since then, despite the seemingly overeating from Bible Study. I have seven weeks left and so far, just 20 lbs. weight gain. 🙂 Good news is that the doctor said the baby’s growing, and it’s true folks, my stomach is pret-ty big! It’s much different from when I had Emma so the women in my family all think it’s a boy. Baby Zias? Is that you? I love you more than the sun.
For 2 months, this was the verse our church concentrated on during worship since it’s about revival. We were all encouraged to memorize it, so we also encouraged our 3 year old as well. It was the longest verse so far for her. It took me almost 2 months to get her to memorize all of it, but she was such a trouper. This is her fifth Bible verse committed to memory since she was 2 yrs. old. 2 Chronicles 7:14 (NIV)“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”
