This video pretty much shows you the fine print in the Macbook Air. pretty funny. Check it out.
i was looking for girly “clothes” for my iphone, esp. hello kitty covers, but the only ones i’ve seen were pretty tacky. might as well just put stickers on it. so i decided to shop around, like i shop for shoes, and found the ultimate skins from Vaja.com, called i-volution: yes. i want the pink one w/ all the girly goodness of swirls and dots. but this desire isn’t as easy to obtain. this girly goodness starts at $220! ninja, what?! yes, that’s the starting price. the reason for the “starting” price is that it’s customizable. you can choose your colors, name engraving, graphic icon engraving, mode of taking over the world…etc… ok, not the last one, but for $220, i was kind of hoping they’d throw in a cook and cleaning lady. noted, i did have a vaja case before for my Palm Zire (a present from my indulging husband), and it was pricey, but it wasn’t starting at $220. but with customization of your Vaja case, with so much styles to choose from, you really get what you want, from different leathers and protection options. the good news is that there are some cases for the iPhone that […]
I’ve never seen this video before but I’ve heard it a couple of times in other shows. The opening skit is just so hysterically funny. It’s not everyday you see a hip-hop song with adobo and balut in the same phrase. Word Up Allan Pineda. PS. Jasmine Trias was even in this remake. I still can’t believe the “mom” in the opening skit made “Fergie” put her skirt up and called “Taboo” as ta-bo.
I’ve been away from the Philippines for 9 years now. One thing thats been instilled in me ever since I was small was the national anthem. A love song. A patriotic song. A song that I haven’t been singing. It does make me wonder of a lot of stuff.
Far-Out Green Gadgets (© PC World) Finally, A Useful TattooIn this concept design for the Core77 contest, Jim Mielke of the United States really pushed the boundaries of his imagination. When the cell phone rings, you push a small dot on your arm. A 2-by-4-inch tattoo with the image of the cell phone’s digital display then appears. Answer the call by pushing one of the tattoo’s buttons. When you’re done, the tattoo disappears. And best of all, you’d never leave this phone in your jeans in the washer. i found this on msn.com from top 13 “Green” Gadgets. my question is, if you don’t mind: ” will hairier people have hairier cell phones?? “
So we went to B&N yesterday to get us and emma into the habit of reading, giving her more of an exposure to books, and allowing her to see perze and me in reading mode. They recommend this to encourage children to read by modeling. I also took this opportunity to read her books on using the toilet. I specifically asked for this book, Once Upon A Potty by Alona Frankel: it’s catered to boys or girls, with surprising anatomy lessons, and funny words like pee pee and poo poo. admittedly, the people sitting next to us moved one table away because of the “graphic content” that was being discussed. but by the end of the book when the toddler successfully pooped a nicely shaped feces into the white pristine bowl, emma was in giddy content, clapping and hailing praises! it was hilarious. now when she has to urinate, she’ll tell us, or if it’s easy enough to pull her own pants down, she’ll go by herself! we’re so proud of her. this week is devoted to the potty. hopefully by next week, we’ll be able to post a blue ribbon of expertise that she can include in her […]
i was doing so well on my diet, so well. what happened? simple. my husband. For the past 4 days, he’s been home because of fever, cold, allergies, sore throat…etc. The bug has definitely infected our home, with perze and em being the sole targets. Since I do most of the cooking, my generous husband, despite being sick, took the task upon himself and cooked me my favorite dishes all weekend. What makes my palate salivate? Basically, fried stuff…hahaha. He cooked me pork inihaw (with lemon)! Heaven, folks, for Filipinas. I’m certain that in heaven, pork inihaw is cooked by iron chef king david. Then he cooked fried fish (w/ side soy sauce & lemon dip)- definitely one of my favorites! Then he cooked kare-kare. And for those who really know me, i LOVE peanut butter. If you’re not filipino, you’ll prolly think it odd that we’d pair beef w/ peanut sauce, but allow me to school you. It’s creamy sauce on white rice w/ soft pressure cooked beef is delicious. Granted, it depends who makes it. I’ve had some pretty whacked kare kare that was more than 3 levels of wrong, but I was pleasantly happy that my husband […]
