As annoying as RZ can get with her idiosyncratic tight lip smirk, this movie moved me in some parts, esp. the high awkward tension filled self restrained scenes of their courtship to engagement. But then again, I’ve always been a fan of romance from…(read more) those times…the subtle and slow progression of romance, and its quiet shows of affection. I get a kick out of the tension and awkwardness and the nervous uncontrollable bouts of professed love. yes. kill me.
but overall, that made the movie for me…everything else was just ok…and sad. i’d have to say though that Ewan McGregor woos and steals you yet again as the charming romantic…*naks*
