A. Hourglass Voile Eyelet Dress

63506_frtso i gave my older sister the black Free People dress cuz personally, although i loved the dress, she looked REALLY pretty in it.  I hardly see my sister in dresses, ya- formal dresses, but the Free People is nice cuz you can wear it to formal occasions as well as slightly more casual events.  It also matches her personality, nothing too ostentatious, but very feminine.

ANYWAYS, to ease a slight loss, I decided to buy a dress for christmas/valentines.  What better festive color for Christmas/Vals than RED?  Yes, I bought the dress that I’ve had my eye on since summer.  I found it on sale, and will make my review upon arrival.

update review: the dress is beautiful although the color pictured is brighter than the actual dress.  the color of the dress is a bit more diluted and dull, yet still has a casual feel to it.  It’s very detailed up close, with feminine eyelets, and an X at the waist, giving the illusion of a tighter center.  The gathering at the middle is also what makes the skirt poof out, giving it that hourglass figure, hence giving those with zero curves (like me) the illusion of having more of a shape.  overall, i’m very satisfied with this dress and i can’t wait to wear it.  another great thing about it is its use for a casual dressy and a formal evening, depending on how you accessorize it.
