July 1, we held a small dinner for family and some friends in the area, to help celebrate Em turning 5. That day, we also went out to shop for a present, after having chosen her birthday dress to wear for the day.

We had a birthday party for both girls, on June 19, our 6th anniversary. Zi turned one and em turned five, hence the party's name: One Plus Five Equals Six

Yay! Zi turned one May 9, 2010. We spent her special day going to church where everyone sang to her in front of her birthday cake. Then we had dinner with my sister's family at her favorite restaurant, Red Lobster. Since we were coming from South Jersey very late, and had a late dinner, we finished her birthday by giving her her very first gold baby bangle. We love you tremendously, Zienne. You are such a blessing and joy to raise. Ps. thank you Lola Nene & Lolo Perl for their beautiful yellow dresses that they wore that day.
