For Rogie's 31st Birthday, Lei threw him a surprise party Dec.6, 2008. We spent the night eating, playing mafia, telling old stories, memories w/ Rogie, laughing, and finally watching the Pacquiao fight.

Dec. 5, 2008 @ Masso's Red Pine Inn. It was a surprise party for one of our church elders, and dad of two of our dearest friends- Mel and Michelle.

Unfortunately Kris wasn't with us this thanksgiving, but we gave thanks for her as well. That weekend, the cousins got to see each other. Wendell joined us for dinner. Then that weekend we trimmed my parents' tree, which is a LONG tradition in our family. Then we also trimmed the Fabila-Ababa tree in our place...Em absolutely LOVES it more and more each year.

November 1, 2008 @ Bergenfield, St. Mary's Church in Dumont. The reception was in the Wilshire Grand Hotel in West Orange, NJ.

This year, Em went as a Princess, recycling a dress that used to my her Tita Kristie's ballet recital dress when she was four. This year, we went to SJ for Halloween, which was great since she collected way more candy than last year (with the help of her RadioFlyer).

Our first ultrasound for Baby Z. We all went together to see Baby. Emma was so excited, having seen Baby that she refused to let the pictures be carried by anyone else but her.

We visited Perze's 2nd degree cousin, Ate Sally, in VT, @ the graduate school SIT. We stayed at their graduate building, where Emma was the center of attention. She spent most of her time hanging out with them. We also went to a huge Pumpkin Festival in NH, then worshiped @ Ate Sally's church that Sunday.

October 6, 2008. We wanted to visit Perze's workplace before it got cold. This was Em's first train ride to NYC and our first time visiting New York Times. We went to NYT, Toys R Us, and Bryant Park.

The Capistrano's set up a dinner for some of the FIC alum. since they were visiting for the week. So we met up at Old Man Rafferty's with all our kids. There was almost just as much kids as adults.
